Why does SafeGuard use a VPN?
Android requires the VPN permission for apps that filter web addresses. SafeGuard runs this filter locally on your phone; your traffic is not routed to any SafeGuard server.
Can it block everything?
No filter is perfect. SafeGuard blocks a large and growing list of sites, but some content may still get through.
